Hoffman/Sulky 2009 challenge quilt. Set in the mid 1920s. I designed the vases, the flowers on the dress and belt and redesigned a royalty free dog design and embroidered them from Sulky threads. The quilting is all free motion on my Bernina 200E using the BSR upgrade. This is in memory of my mother in law who would have been in her early twenties about the time this scene is set. This is 27 x 40 inches. This quilt is currently on tour with Hoffman 2009 Challenge.

This quilt is now home. Funny, you know, I can see lots of things about this quilt that I should have done differently that I did not see before I submitted it. I think this is an excellent lesson for me. I knew the quilting wasn't great, but the design also has some flaws. I will chalk this one up to my learning journey. Cheers.
