II have been a member since 2/08 but didn't know that I had to introduce myself. So here goes.

I have been quilting since I was 6 when I would set by my mother and piece blocks with her. My first quilt was finished when I got married at 19 and was a QUEEN SIZE THAT i TIED. I still have it. I made clothing for the 3 kids as they grew up. Also my own clothing.

I started piecing quilts again in 92 and when I had a dozen tops ready to be quilted I told my husband I wanted a quilting machine when I retired from being a hairdresser.

So in 95 I got an APQS Ult II and up graded to IS/Cl in 2000 so I could have the one stitch button. I also enjoy the regulated stitch very much.

I love the outdoors, gardening flowers,and bowling.

have 2 sons, Chris 45 a structual engineer in Las Vegas with 2 boys, Scott 42 a civil engineer that still lives at home. My daughter 39 is a union operator and licensed crane operator with a son and daughte that livr across the lake from us.

We live on a farm by Fremont Ne and have 60 acres corn and lake in the front yard so I can have a lot of sand to vacuum each week. Enough about us.
