I just talked to my Mom, Evelyn McChristian and Dad. Mom had surgery late last evening to repair a broken hip. She sounded great on the phone! We are anticipating a great recovery for her and she attributes this to Weight Watchers and her daily walks. We ask for prayers for her recovery. I can't wait to see her tomorrow.

Fun with scraps!

Just doing quick swirls on this one. I don't feel the love for this quilt. I think it's the orange.

Just off the frame and ready for binding.

Don't let this happen to you! I didn't measure my quilt before I put the last orange border on. I took the border off, measured my quilt like I know I should and reapplied them this afternoon. Measuring quilts for borders is my least favorite part of the process. I officially hate orange.

I just finished quilting Bill's Christmas present this morning. It still needs to be trimmed and bound so I suspect it may turn into a New Year's gift. It seems like it has been on my frame forever.....I am ready for Bill to get home from work and for Will and Katie to get here and we will start the festivities! Merry Christmas!
