  1. St Mary's quilt show last weekend.

  2. I saw my first one yesterday at the feeder. It ate and are at the feeder. Haven't seen it since.

  3. Trying to figure out what I bought in February for Paradise in Bloom. Argh! I wrote fabrics in...but still so many blanks in my notebook. I thought I had all my major players. This is going to take a while to figure out what I have and what I need.

  4. Gizzy is so much better during thunderstorms. He used to be so scared and wildky out of control. Now he can feel somewhat secure in my lap. But he's trembling so hard!

  5. Double tournaments today. I'm dragging. Next few weekends are booked with activities too. Only about 30 days more school then summer break!

  6. She's pleating on a beautiful vintage machine, rigged up to keep on pleating hands free. Comments say they have a ribbon awards business. Love seeing that machine in action!

  7. Me during tv time at night!

  8. Pat, I think I would take your snow over the stiffling humidity here.

  9. Some my friends might like.

  10. Phase 1 done... easy this morning as he is sick (pollen) and said I'm going back to bed... too bad I can't do that. Now on to Phase 2 and then it's me for Phase 3 and a day of sewing fun - woohoo!

  11. It's been nice enjoying a little quiet coffee time...but sleeping would have been nicer LOL! Hubby's alarm went off @ 6AM on the one and only day off w/o work or errands since when? And he's gone again next week...and I'm gone the next. Wish I could go back to sleep after something wakes me but I just cant.... Looks to be a gorgeous day today and we WILL be outdoors enjoying. I know we aren't typical... DVR for the game (shhhh I like the commercials LOL).

  12. Have you noticed how thin and flimsy things are being made today? We've grumbled over this for a long time yet things still get made thinner and thinner. I had to order a new vacuum for downstairs cause I took mine to my moms and found myself unable to carry my upstairs one down the stairs.... Got the same brand and the one we had that I took to my mother's. It works well but oh my gosh it feels the the framework will just crack up and tear apart in no time.

  13. Kruiser showed up again!

  14. It's supposed to be official (but I have had a few friends surprised)! We will be adding a GRANDSON to the growing list of grandbabies!!!!

  15. Flight delays... rain. Hopefully the current time holds true and I'll be headed to pick up my hubby soon!

  16. Change in plans and I don't have to go anywhere this evening - woohoo! Doesn't take much to make me happy.

  17. Second guessing my decision to work on "Fractures" today (need my set in cabinet to help with the tedious point matching). Last time was prior to IQS in November since I got to gather with quilty friends for Friday sew day, A day filled with laughter and lots of sewing fun! Taking that week off, added to oodles of quilting orders for the holidays, then my sudden knee surgery followed by moving my mom... Oh well, this quilt is calling and I best get back to work on it so I CAN be ther...

  18. We have had sunshine and pleasant temps the past few days and that got me thinking...Is winter over for this part of the country? Yep, I checked the average temps and it does look like the next 2 months should be my kind of weather!

  19. Binding... DONE! What a chore that is. Between cleaning up your work area after making and quilting the quilt, trimming to finished size, cutting and sewing strips for binding, pressing, attaching to one side, flipping and 1000 pins later finally stitching the 2nd side. Whew. Glad that is DONE! And people wonder why we charge so much for binding.....

  20. I'm finally at a turning point I think. I have less pain and more mobility than I have had since the first of September. Woohoo!

  21. I feel like I never had s mother
