Retired Bernina, Pfaff, and Singer Dealer. Passap Knitting Machine Dealer. Owned my retail store, Creative Machine Arts for 26 years. Internationally published author/designer of knitwear. Wrote technical articles about Passap Knitting Machines for three years. Designs were inside and on front cover of magazines that were internationally published. (my moments of fame. Ha!)

I have sewn since the age of 3 with a needle and thread. With a sewing machine 4.5 years old. It is part of my being!

Made my first quilt the end of 1999. in the local fair, it received: 1st place, Best of Show, and People's Choice Award. Went to the State Fair and recieved a second in the Best of show category for the entire state of California.  My second quilt was used as a teaching tool. The first year one of my students received: 1st place and best of show.

The second year a student received 1st place. 

My third quilt, which I designed, was placed in the advanced category: 1st place, Best of Show. It had the honor of being chosen to represent our county in the State Fair. I have a very large ribbon for that year. The state fair chose not to have a Best of Show Catagory that year but a special display with only one entry from each county.

I am a widow of ten years. I built a new home on sixty acres in the middle of the forest with a wonderful studio to accomodate my long arm. I share this peaceful environment with my 100 pound boxer named Duke. We enjoy almost daily walks throughout the property.
