My name is Brenda Kwekel. I live in West Michigan and am happily married and mom to five great boys. My day job is that of school bus driver for the local Christian school where my youngest two still attend, allowing me school vacations and summers off, as well as a nice block of time during each day to spend in my studio. My part-time job is that of staff at a needlework shop. I have sewn since I was a little girl, and I began quilting almost twenty years ago. I am the proud owner of a Gammill Classic Plus longarm quilting machine, fondly named "Sophie", and own a longarm quilting business started in fall of 2007. I enjoy my time at MQR and learn something everyday from the wonderful people here.
