This week's feature is a lovely block-of-the-month (a pattern from The Quilt Show) that has been beautifully quilted by Peg Jones of Iowa City, IA. Peg's quilting treatment includes stitch-in-the-ditch, curved cross-hatching, feathers, a variety of background fills, and some straight line work. She used a variety of threads and wool batting in this project. You can see additional photographs of this quilt in the forum.

This week's feature is a simple quilt that has been quilted by Judy Wehrspann of Milford, IA, for her daughter-in-law's mother. Judy's lovely quilting treatment includes her version of some "heavy metal", some stitch-in-the-ditch, and outline quilting around each of the fern motifs in the large focal fabric blocks. This week's feature is a lovely sampler (wool applique) that has been beautifully quilted by Valerie Wagner of Spring, TX, for one of her clients. Valerie's quilting treatment on the quilt includes a variety of background fills, some ribbon candy in the sashing, and leaves in the borders. The double batting layers she used provided some great stitch definition, too. Be sure to visit the forum to see additional photographs of the quilt.
