This week's feature is a gorgeous, painted wholecloth that has been designed and beautifully quilted by Joy Voltenburg of Sullivan, IL. Her design was inspired by a few vintage illustrations which she then traced using Adobe Illustrator, printed out, and traced onto some PFD fabric. She used a variety of pigments, paints and inks to add color to the quilted piece. You'll want to check out additional photographs of the completed quilt and progress photographs that Joy has shared with us.
